Contact Us
Have questions about our snow day predictions? Found a technical bug on the website? Or just want to say hi? We'd love to hear from you! Our dedicated team of developers, meteorologists, and data scientists are constantly working around the clock during the winter season to ensure that our prediction algorithms remain as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Whether you are a student, a concerned parent, or a school district administrator, your feedback is incredibly valuable to us.
Please review the contact options below and choose the one that best fits your inquiry. Because we receive thousands of messages during major winter storm events (such as Nor'easters or bomb cyclones), we ask that you provide as much specific detail as possible—including your exact ZIP code and school district—so that our support team can investigate your local forecast properly.
Support & Feedback
For general inquiries, support, or feedback on our prediction accuracy:
support@calculatorsnowday.cloudResponse Time Expectations
We pride ourselves on community engagement and typically respond to all non-automated email inquiries within 24 to 48 hours during the active winter season (November through March). However, please note that during major, multi-state winter storms—when our servers are processing millions of predictions simultaneously—response times may be slightly delayed. During these peak events, our engineering team's absolute top priority is maintaining server stability, ensuring real-time weather API integrations remain active, and monitoring the predictive algorithms for any anomalies. We appreciate your patience during these hectic periods.
Report a Prediction Accuracy Issue
Machine learning models are only as good as the data they are trained on. While we boast a 95%+ accuracy rate for high-confidence predictions, weather is inherently chaotic, and school superintendents are human beings who sometimes make surprising decisions.
If our calculator significantly missed a prediction in your specific geographical area (for instance, predicting a 99% chance of closure when schools remained open, or vice versa), please let us know! When reporting an accuracy discrepancy, please include your exact ZIP code, the name of your specific school district or county, the time you checked the prediction, and the actual outcome (e.g., "Full Closure", "2-hour delay", "Remote Learning Day", or "Stayed open"). This critical feedback loop allows our data scientists to manually adjust the "wimpiness" threshold for your district, ensuring that our AI models learn from the mistake and provide a much better forecast for the next winter storm.
